Lorena Feijoo (SF Latina prima ballerina) hosts "Cinderella" movie pre-screening

Lorena Feijoo hosted the pre-screening of Disney's new Cinderella movie in San Francisco on  March 9, 2015.

Here's why she was chosen!

Lorena is one of the most celebrated ballerinas in the history of ballet. She was the prima ballerina of the Cuban national ballet and is now the prima at the San Francisco ballet, two of the most prestigious companies in the world.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Lorena Feijoo trained at the National Ballet School of Cuba. She began her career at National Ballet of Cuba and danced with Ballet of Monterrey, Royal Ballet of Flanders, and The Joffrey Ballet prior to joining San Francisco Ballet as a principal dancer in 1999.

Lorena is fluent in both Spanish and English, and was chosen as host because of her extensive Cinderella ballet perfomances throughout her prestigious life.
